No publication date (N.L.A. suggests 1946 - Muir 2137). Unpaginated (16 pages, self cover). Absolutely exquisite colour-art illustrations throughout: six full page, including front and back covers, a lovely double-page centre-spread, and equally beautiful intext colour illustrations, all by Canadian-born (Montreal, 1906) Australian resident Kay Druce. Saddle-stitched, staple-bound format. Staples very slightly rusted, and holding firmly. Spine mildly worn, and just starting head and heel. Colour illustrated self-wrapper (same paper stock as textblock) lightly bumped and edgeworn. A name written in an adult hand on one page, else textblock bumped as wrapper. This story for the littlies finds Little Duffy and his dog Squeezer going fishing, with his brand-new, birthday gift fishing rod . . . This book is a fine example of the offset lithography printing craft . . . Book weight approx. 55g. *Postage charge will be reduced as this item will post as a small parcel.
